Dear Isaac family, I was shocked and surprised to hear about Samantha's passing today from a colleague. Samantha was one of my speech and drama students when I first began my teaching career at Shawnee Jr. High. She was full of zest and a great deal of fun! She stepped up to the challenge, as did many of her peers, when she played the role of the fragile mom in the serious drama Go Ask Alice. I've often thought about her through the years. My heart breaks for her family. Please know you are in my heart and prayers.
