Having lost a sister I know EXACTLY how you feel. Only time will heal your broken heart then you will be able to reminisce and smile on the precious memories of Sammetta. She is "absent from the body but ALWAYS will be present in the spirit."

To Sandra and family I am deeply sadden to hear of the loss of Sammetta we have known each other for a long time elementary school,high school and church. She was a wonderful person she will be missed but her memories will live on. Look to the Lord for his strength and guidances.

what i remember best about sammetta was her smile and her sense of humor. i only knew her briefly but that moment in time will always make me laugh out loud- that is how i remember sammetta. be of good cheer,she's just sleeping; you will see her again.

Rest in peace Sametta. For surely you will never be forgotten by anyone that you've ever encountered.

The scripture states, "in everything give thanks", lets give thanks to God for the time that Sammetta was with us. Remember the good times and the laughs, this is how we keep those close to us alive in our hearts. I remember the days of old at Greater St. Luke Church and seeing Mrs. Bligen bringing her children to church. Praise God while your going through and watch him bring you out and that is a promise. He will do it.

Sharon, your sister had a wonderful spirit and an infectious smile! I remember the first time that I realized that she was a South Carolina State College Dancer and that she was my homegirl, I was so proud of her that all I could say when I saw them perform for the first time is, "that's Sharon's sister, my homegirls!" God is still in the healing business, so trush and believe and your fun memories of Sammetta will last you a lifetime and provide smiles when she is thought of.
