Sammy Marlow

Sammy Marlow was born July 28, 1924 in Gaither, OK, the son of Charley Marlow and Josephine (Garavaglia) Marlow and had lived in Boswell since 1989. He departed this life on May 10, 2012 at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 12 days. Sammy's parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Katie Marlow and three brothers, Louis Marlow, Johnny Marlow and Charlie Marlow. Sammy was an electrician at Tinker Air Field in Oklahoma City for 21 years and worked 12 years as an inspector for Bell Helicopter. He had a total of 37 years of civil service. Sammy enjoyed dancing, liked to fish and hunt and enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. He married Patricia "Chris" Malone on August 6, 1963 in Cheyenne, WY SURVIVORS INCLUDE: his wife, Patricia "Chris" Marlow; one brother, Frank Marlow and wife, Edwina of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Beckie Marlow of Savanna, OK; nieces, Judy Cawthorn and husband, David of Phoenix, AZ and Lynn Rumsey and husband, Tom of Savanna, OK; nephews, Wayne Marlow of Savanna, OK and L.F. Marlow of Springdale, VA along with numerous other family and friends.
