The day draws nearer that I will not be able to say you were alive this time last year. Time has not lessened the pain.

Daddy, you are my world, my safe place, my shoulder to cry on, my best friend, my all time hero always and forever. I always have and always will look up to you and will always strive to be a daughter you´re proud of. I will miss your strong grip on my shoulder, the rash on my face from your beard after your warm hugs and kisses, and most of all your one of a kind sense of humor. I thank God each and everyday I had as much time with you as He gave me with you to learn, laugh and love you and learn from you. Half of my body was made from you, and that along with knowing I will be reunited with you again one glorious day will keep me though until then. I love you with all my heart and soul daddy, please keep as close as you can and watch over us. Love, your oldest baby girl that´s just like you, Emily Hope Red <3
