Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to Sue, Gale, Rex, and family. Mr. Bennett left an indelible mark on my life, and I know as much can be said by my fellow Scouts. Mr. Bennett was the quintessential Scout Master who always led with patience, kindness, and humility. Sam showed us how to live honorably, love God, and serve others. What a blessing it was to know and learn from him and see his life still influencing mine. G. Britt Whitman, former and current Scout.

Gale and Family,

Our hearts are saddened to hear of your loss. Although, we only know Gale on a personal level it has to be from deep and well grounded roots to have such integrity, passion, work ethic and love of life and people instilled. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We pray God's strength for the family and friends of Mr. Bennett.

Sue and family, we were saddened in the knowlege of Sam's death. Jack and Sam worked together at Phillips. Today we talked about the time Bartlesville had the "big snow" and Same stayed overnight with us. Jack had wonderful memories of his friendship. How surprised I was in remembering you sold Tupperware with me. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

I know lots of us that worked at Williams Bros or Cities Service and a few other Eng companies in Tulsa and Bartlesville knew Sam Bennett.
Sam was a GREAT guy and darn good Electrical Designer and just a fun person to be around. I worked with Sam at Williams Bros Eng co for several years and I was VERY saddened to hear of his death. God bless his family and all his supporters.

Sam was the Boy Scout leader of my son Russell at Faith United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Rex and Russell were good friends and enjoyed many campouts together. It was on those campouts that Russell discovered his love of cooking. Sam was a patient, affirmative model for a boy with a troubled background. I will always be grateful to Sam and Rex.

I am sorry to hear of Sam's passing. As a fellow scouter, I only spent a few years with Sam in the Boy Scouts but they were years filled with good and lasting memories. Sam was a gentleman, a dedicated leader who lead by his example of integrity and hard work. I will keep him and you in my prayers. John Gastorf
