SAMUEL BOYD Obituary
Age 94, of Emsworth, peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy C. (Sammel) Boyd; loving father of Robert (Jackie) Boyd, John (Kathy) Boyd, Donna (Brian) Bucek and the late William (surviving spouse Debbie) Boyd; grandfather of Melinda (William) Petrina, Bria Boyd, William (Bridgette), Robert (Rachael) and Thomas (Jessica) Boyd, Brian and Steven Bucek; great-grandfather of Katie and William Petrina, Jagger and Hudson Boyd, Tess and Drew Boyd, Ava and Aria Boyd; brother the late Agnes Geiger. Samuel served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and survived the sinking of the USS Ommaney Bay. A remembrance service with interment will be held at Allegheny County Memorial Park Saturday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
