Ferri & Family, very sorry for the loss of "Sammy" as we called him growing up (Harper Family) in Kingsford Hgts. We knew Sammy's Mom, Uncles and Aunties. Ms Verdella was one of my momma's morning coffee buddies. I remember his BIG Beautiful smile. Ferri you have your memories, God has his memories of Sammy, don't worry he will never be forgotten. John 5:28,29.

Each of you have my deepest sympathy. It's hard losing a parent but know that part of him is in you. Walk in his memory and use what he's taught you. It takes time but it does get easier. Some days may be harder than others so if you have to cry, just do it. Don't hold it in. The Son is going to shine just hold on.

Sam was a great man. I remember him riding down the street in the black Elderado listening to "How you like me now" and how I always wanted to wash his car when we held a carwash or something. I will miss that man, but as his children I know that you will miss him more and that's ok. Just remember that JOY will come in the morning. All you need to do is wake up and decide that THIS day will be your morning. I love you both!!

I want to let you know that I am so sorry to hear about your father. You talked about him alot and I know that it hurts. I can't tell you that you will stop hurting soon but just trust in God and let Him mend your broken heart. We are keeping you and your family in prayer!!

Sam was a great man and a great boss! I was saddened to hear the news. Warren and Nikki, know that you two were his heart. He loved you both so much and Sam spoiled Nikki rotten but cherish what he taught you and never forget the things about him that made you laugh, that's what is going to help you through!!

My dad was special to me. We will miss him dearly. God held you by the hand and guided you home. Lil Rell said, "get your money man." We love you dad(Papa).....

Im very sorry to hear about Sam. I just wanted to let you know that I will always be here for you Jo'Rese and I know you will do the same!! I just recently lost my grandfather, so I know exactly how you feel. Love you!!

I will miss my father more than anything in this world. I am grateful and thankful that before he passed he hugged me and said "I love you baby girl" one last time. I know that my grandmother and my uncles were waiting to usher him into the gates of Heaven and I have peace in my heart knowing that. I love you daddy!!!

I knew Sam from Whirlpool in LaPorte. He was a great guy - always had a smile on his face & was fun to work with. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed!

To the entire Bynum Family my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. Be strong.

I first met Sam at Whirlpool in the 70's.What an experience to work with this man. We became good friends at work and socially too. Softball, Sam (Cuda or Barracuda),Greg Beaty, Les Bynum, Bill Thorton, AC Bynum, and Harry Rinker(Deacon) all went together for many summers. I asked Sam to be in my wedding, a true friend.
Unfortunatly, I won't make it to the service, but the memory of our good times will never be forgotten. Thinking of Sam brings many tears and smiles. I will miss Sam, always...

Even though we did not know Sam personally, it is evident that he was a great person. Just knowing you and seeing your vibrant spirit just let others know that you were sharing life with someone that made you feel special and very happy. Count your blessings and be thankful that God blessed you with a wonderful companion. Sam's legacy will live on. Our deepest sympathy for your loss.

I was saddened to hear that Sammy had passed. I remember Sammy from growing up in the Heights. We affectionately remember him by his childhood nickname(s) of "Snake" and "Rump" with a wonderful sense of humor.
