Sometimes, when Sam and I would travel together to work, daughter Maura would travel with us. We'd often stop at a donut shop to get a donut "fix" and then move on. I have several stories I would like to share with Maura and her family if she would care to contact me.

I served with Sam as a first year science teacher in 1956-57, later returned as Principal in 1976 and Sam served as my science Department Chairperson until retirement, I wish to express my sympathy to his children.

Sam was already employed at Foxborough High School when I began my 24-year tenure as Secretary to the Assistant Principal, and he was one of the first to welcome me on board. He had a quick wit about him, and he never passed by my office without offering a sincere "hello." I am sorry to hear about his passing, and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Sam was my science department head and friend for over 25 years at Foxborough High School. On a personal level, we were close friends with Sam and Mary for many years. I've thought of him often since his retirement. I tried several times to contact him but was unsuccessful. He will be missed.
