Father God that you wrap Michelle, the kids, and all Sammy III's family and friends safely in the shelter of your powerful, comforting, loving arms. They are saved by the Blood of Christ Jesus, by his stripes all the hurt and sorrow is healed. Lord send the Holy Spirit with the sense of comfort, peace, and healing to mimister to them in their time of need, We ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, Our Savior , Fisher of Men, Lamb of God, The Alpha and Omega ( Beginning and End). And God we will be sure to give you all the glory, the honor and the praise forever, Amen.

I had the pleasure of working with Sam as we played for blues guitarist Vasti Jackson. Sam and I later toured Orveito, Italy playing for Saxophonist Gary Brown. I got know Sam during the preparation for the shows.I even hosted him in New Orleans. He was a true professional and a great talent.My family and I will miss him but he will always be remembered.I will See you again my friend.... TONY GULLAGE

I was in Bourbon Street one night enjoying SMB. I comment to a young lady how good the keyboard player was. She stated that it was Sam, my brother. On break he came up and talked with me for a while. I was surprised to learn that he had only been with SMB for 6 weeks. Sam was able to play any style of music and was still down to earth. I truly enjoyed the few times we were able to enjoy a drink and talk music. He will be missed.

Sorry for the news that Sam has passed. He was a very talented man. My deepest sympathy and best regards for the entire family. David Patillo

It's a terrible thing to lose a loved one especially one of our parents, I know your dad is at peace now and it is you and your family who feel the pain. I continue to keep you all in my prayers and thoughts and will be happy to help with anything I can.

Michelle and family, my heart goes out to you. For the short time that I knew Sam, he was a great man. I remember hearing him sing for our wedding this past October, I know he was extremely tired, but yet he wanted to give us that wonderful gift. He is in a better place now with no more pain. He even has a grand piano in Heaven.
