I worked with Officer Jimenez when he was a letter carrier in Naperville just before he was hired as a Police Officer. He was a great guy who was so excited to get the job he always wanted. He showed a lot of pride in his work in Naperville and I knew he would become a great Officer. I was fortunate to have known him.

To the family, you have my sincere condolences. When someone falls asleep in death (Ecclesiastes 9: 5,10) the memories we have of them become our treasure. May those memories comfort you as well as Gods promise at John 6:40.

My thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathy go out to the Jiménez family. My dad years ago it was a Chicago police man and passed away at an early age though it happened at home. So every time he went to work we did not know if he would come home. Very stressful life.
Again my heart goes out to his wife and children.

I'm heartbroken for Officer Jimenez' wife and young children. I pray that God gives them peace until they are reunited with him in heaven.

Growing up in Chicago, and spending most of my life there, we were raised to respect the men and women in blue. With a heavy heart I am expressing my deepest sympathy to the Jimenez family for their sacrifice to make the people of Chicago a safer place. May God give you daily strength to overcome your grief and to cherish your memories of officer Jimenez. Officer Jimenez, thank you for your service.
