I was saddened to learn of your father's passing, Randy, and especially so soon after his 89th birthday. I only met 'Mr Johnston' one time many moons ago, but recall he was a kind-hearted and generous man -- no surprise that he led an extraordinary and accomplished life. Anis and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Jocelyne, Garrett and Sarah and also to your brother and his family, and of course to you.

Sammy and I were work colleagues at IBM for over 30 years and kept in touch with one another over another 30 years . Sammy was due a phone call when I saw his notice. We were friends, I will miss him. Jim
