Sam is a dedicated servant of our Almighty Creator. Theresa speaks of 'the Bible Study', which I led. Sam was a faithful attendee and willing participant, always in an ATTITUDE of prayer.

Just about 9 years ago, I had a minor accident which made me unable to lead the Bible Study for about 2 months. I asked him, when he came to visit me in hospital, if he could take over the study in my absence. He was MORE than able [or I would not have asked], but humble enough to ask if I really thought he could handle it. A man as sold out to his Maker as Sam was could not be MORE qualified.

It won't be VERY long before we see him in the Messianic Kingdom, and I am SURE that he will be a leading servant of our King in it. It is my hope to somehow approach his standing in our Master.

Let me add my condolences to his family over their loss, as I add them to everyone who knew him.

SUCH a servant!

It was truly a pleasure to have known Sam. He added so much to our Bible Study. His smile, laughter and joy were contagious and he challenged us to study God's word more and pray fervently. He will be greatly missed here but I know we will see him again in heaven. Even so, I will be praying for comfort and peace for the family as you go through this difficult time.

I admired Mr. Pillow very much. I was fortunate to have him as client of my company, Parker Typing Service, for many years until 1915 when my husband passed and I became ill. I thoroughly enjoyed his visits and typing his National Day of Prayer program.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
