Thanks for the memories Sam.No doubt you are up there now with Toe Blake and the Rocket planning strategy to pave the way for another Stanley Cup for the Canadiens.

Sam was my hockey coach in Macdonald Park,Montreal long before the Canadians knew about him.His compassion and success soon elevated him to being the best.
With fond memories.

For many years there was only one team in the NHL that got my blood pounding. The Habs would never have been the winners they were, without your leadership and devotion.

Thank you, Sam. You are one of those guardian angels.

To the Pollock Family: In the early .80.s, I worked in Tanzania, East Africa as a missionary priest. Sam heard about my work, and sent along a cheque to help the poor and needy very regularly.
