Poppy Sam was always such a happy and smiling person. Like my father, he always had something crazy to say and always made me laugh. Many condolences to the Russo family...may he rest in peace.

Sam used to be my step father. Him and my mom were supposed to get married, but she passed away before they could. I just wanted to say that I am very sorry for everyones loss. I have good memories with him & my mom together, and now they will always be together! I hope that everyones hanging in there. I miss all of his family. Sorry that I didnt make it to the funeral. I really wanted to be there to say that I am sorry to his sons. I'd thought the world of him and his sons. From experience, I can say that the death of a parent or any loved one, never gets easier.... its just something you have to get used to. You will be in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy for our loss of Sambo. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at the El Rancho. I will always remember his smiling, sparkling eyes.
