I just heard of Sam's passing today. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Gladys, it was so good to see you at the Cedars earlier this year! May God Bless You!

I was deeply saddened to read that Sam has left our world.
In the years I worked with him, our exchanges were always full of fairness, kindness, patience and dignity. There never was a time I dreaded seeing his truck pulling into the lot of my store. He knew how to treat people.
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. Our loss is heaven's gain.

He was a strong man of God and although we didn't get to see him very often, he was always happy when we did and had a warm hug to share. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Zehr family. What a beautiful obituary.........it described the Sam that my Dad knew perfectly. The late Dennis Girardot sold paint to Sam for years thru ream Steckbeck in Fort Wayne. They became friends and over the years their friendship grew. I believe out of mutual respect and admiration for one another.

I know my Dad was in the receiving line greeting Sam with a friendly hug and hand shake as he entered thru Heaven's Gate.

Glady's, my Mom, Joan Girardot offers her sympathy to you. She says the two of you took care of your respective husbands well and laid them to rest and into God's care.

Gladys and families, we were so saddened to hear of Sam's passing, but celebrating his new life with Jesus!! So sorry we will be out of town during all of this, but feel our hugs, please!! We loved Sam and he would always ask about Wilmer whenever i would see him. Love your families!!
