Sandra (Sandy) Lynn (Ellison) Albain age 71 passed away Monday April 19 2021. Sandra was born August 23 1949 in Monroe MI. Graduated from Mason High School (Erie,MI). Married Gerald Dewayne Albain October 11, 1969. She worked for Monroe Public Schools until retiring in 2015. Preceded in death by parents Ralph Ellison & Ruth (McDonald) Ellison stepfather Clarence Ellison, husband Gerald Dewayne Albain brothers Gary Ellison, John Ellison, Phillip Ellison and sister Melinda (Ellison) Carpenter. To cherish her memory she has two sisters Linda (Ellison) Valerio of Lasalle MI and Melissa (Ellison) Doom of Erie MI and a brother Michael Ellison of Monroe MI. Five children Ruth (Albain) Neal of Tennessee, Joseph (Joe) Albain of Monroe, Cole Albain of Toledo, OH, Shay Albain of Toledo, OH, Dietrich Albain of Monroe. She will be missed by her 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sandy will be remembered for her love of God, huge heart for family and friends, her sense of humor, love of writing poetry, baking, old music, and old black and white movies. Cremation arrangements through Purse Funeral Home Adrian, MI. Memorial luncheon for family and friends to share memories will be Saturday April 24 12:00pm-2:00pm at Calvary United Methodist Church 790 Patterson Dr. Monroe, MI 48161
