Sandra was my best friend Kristes mom. I knew her as a small person with a firecracker attitude. Your mom was an awesome person, funny, caring and sweet! Her and Kriste share a very similar relationship to me and my mom and I cannot imagine that kind of loss. I am so happy that her health was good enough to share the happiness of Krite and Marks wedding. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time and may God be with you. She will be greatly missed.

Sandy and I were cousins, born just two and a half months apart. As kids, we were almost like sisters -- we stayed at each other's houses, wore each other's clothes, even argued like sisters. More recently we stayed in touch by phone and took some trips together, to New Orleans and Niagara Falls. She never lost that wonderful sense of humor, no matter what. She was fun to be around, and she cared deeply about her loved ones. I'll miss her forever, but I feel privileged to have known her and been related to her.

Dear Family, once very long ago I worked with Sandy at General Telephone. We were so young then. I was fresh out of High School. We had such great fun there and Sandy could really get us going! She was also very compassionate. I remember when one call came in to repair and she recognized the person was in trouble and she got emergency to the person's house where they discovered it was an elderly person who had fallen and struck their head. Who knows what would have happened without Sandy's clear thinking. It was also the time of worrying about her brother and my future husband both serving in Vietnam. I moved to Minnesota in 1969 and lost touch with Sandy. Only saw her once after that when her first daughter was born. I have often wondered how she was and what she was doing and now I know that she truly became a great and compassionate person. How wonderful a legacy she seems to have left behind. Take comfort and trust God. You had the real deal in Sandy!

Dear Mr. Burns, Kelly, Kristie, grandchildren and entire family.. To know Sandy was a privilege in my life. She never failed to make me laugh, even in church. I will miss our talks in the aisles of grocery stores. May Our Lord in Heaven hold her tight in His arms for all of us. With sadness in my heart and love, Judi Piro (Krista's mom)

Sandy is my cousin and a central part of our family. Her smile and laughter were always present; I can still hear it. Whenever we called; she answered. If we needed an eye opener; she opened our eyes. If we needed to be reminded we were loved; all we had to do was look at her.

Sandy will be in my heart always. I'm driving home this morning and will see you soon.
