Dick: This comes as a shock to Hans & I. Sandra emailed Dec. 23 about her diagnosis, but we never expected this! Sandra was such a unique person, one whom I admire and have the deepest respect for, and proud to call my friend. I'm sorry that we didn't get together as often as we wanted to, which makes the last dinner party that much more special. You have our deepest condolences and support in this time of grief.

It was with real sadness that we heard of
Sandy's illness and then her passing.
She was a good friend of many years and always fun to be with, Sandy will be sadly missed.

We have lost a very special and unique individual with Sandra's passing. Her strength, wisdom, loyalty and great sense of fun and humour was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be sorely missed.
