Sandra Conklin

Sandra Gremer Conklin, 83, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2022. Sandra was a native to Florida, she was born in Tampa to her loving parents Robert and Juanita Irene (Mitchell) Gremer.

Sandra's early years consisted of working with her family at the business they established in Jacksonville, FL; Professional Optical. Shortly after, she graduated from Temple University and became a Dental Hygienist She pursued this line of work in both Florida and in Virginia. Sandra had always had a helpful nature, from training and teaching students to volunteering at her local Church.

Sandra had a fondness for being in the water. She enjoyed spending her time swimming, water skiing, and participating in water aerobics. She also took regular walks with friends around her Plantation neighborhood.

The most important thing to Sandra was her three sons and their families, whom she prayed for regularly. She was a loyal and dedicated mother to her children. Sandra never hesitated to facilitate their needs and show her support to them.

Sandra is survived by 3 beloved sons: David of Midland, MI, Christopher of Manassas, VA, and Brandon, of Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by two sisters: Patty Staton of Ocala, FL who stayed by Sandy's side until she went to be with the Lord, Lynda Parent of Atlantic Beach, FL, and her brother, Buddy Gremer, of Tifton, GA. As well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1st Baptist Church of Leesburg, FL in the chapel on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 10:00 AM.

Memorial contributions can be made in Sandra's name to 1st Baptist Church of Leesburg.
