We were so saddened to hear about Sandy's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. I just found out mid day today (Thurs.) and it was to late for both the wake and funeral....I certainly would have attended.

Mom! You would be amazed at the outpouring of love shown to us tonight! If I did not realize it before (although I did) you were one special and loved lady! You would be proud of Dad. He did a great job and chatted with everyone. Your grandchildren looked wonderful. The girls beautiful in their dresses and the boys in suits and ties! The were so well behaved us parents are just so proud!!!

After everyone left, us Haffey's sat alone in the room and watched your picture DVD listening to your favorite music. It was heartwarming...but sad because you were not with us.

Tomorrow we have another big day. I promise to try and keep it together, but I said TRY?

I can say this with certainty...YOU ARE LOVED and so MISSED.

So many wonderful memories go with the Haffey family name, my head is swirling. Sandie I will miss your contant outpouring of love and affection for anyone you met at anytime. You have given this gift to your children and grandchildren may they carry your love for life and people with them always.

Mom, I am having such a hard time accepting the fact that you are gone. Brianna and I just cried together because we both want you back. I can't understand it to myself, how do I explain it to my child? I told her that you are always with us in our hearts and our memories. She had to call Papa tonight to make sure he is doing well. They chatted for quite a while.

Everyone is keeping an eye on me and making sure I am doing ok. I still grab the phone all the time to call you though. Now I just call Dad but it is just not the same...he can't chat about the Soaps and the things we used to. Daddy is doing ok as well. His sisters are keeping him on his toes so don't worry.

The next few days I look forward to celebrating your life with so many people whose lives you have touched and loved you so dearly. It will be hard at times, but we will be together as a family.

I am glad you are at Peace and I am sure you are dancing with the Angels.

I sit across the street and around the corner from my dear friends, Debbie and Pam and I'm so sad for a wonderful family that is in sorrow. I think of the four sisters who are so alike yet so different - a similarity in their physical beauty, lively outgoing personalities and strong and resilient character - yet, each so individual in their interests, outlooks and talents.

I’m so sorry for the loss of the shared memories – there are no ties quite like the ones of growing up together.

I’m so sorry, Teri, for the loss of your mother. The dimension of that loss is vast and it’s so unfair that you lost her so young (both of you.) It has seemed to me that you are like an honorary sister to your aunts and I hope that you can find comfort in their lasting love and support.
