Well Buffy, What can I say....I'm still speechless!! A full year has gone by and I still cannot believe it. I still wait to hear the phone ring and you telling me something about a kid from school. My heart is still broken over this as if it just still happened. I hope and pray you are enjoying time with mom for sure and you are raising that tall one :) !! You are missed more than you could ever imagine!!!!

I love you and miss you more and more each.You always put me up on a pedastal when you praised me to be a great teacher and how I influenced you to do the same thing.You always said we had taught the kids who hardly had anything in their lives.Our heart and patience always reached out to them kids.You were a great sister friend and role model.

Dearest Buffy it is so sad that you left us so early,I will always remember your bubbly personality and infectious smile. You have made a lasting impression on me and will be truly missed.

Buffy was my neighbor. She brightened my day every time I saw her. Ever smiling, she was upbeat, so very funny and always laughing. We even had our own song-- Meghan Trainor's "It's All About That Base"

With dimples,big blue eyes and curley blond hair she got her knicname as a kid for looking so much like the little girl, Buffy, in the TV sitcom, Family Affair.

Buffy loved her job. She worked through the year. She often spoke about her students. I believe they filled the role of children in her life. She felt she understood them, and that she was able to be a positive influence in their lives. She was filled with gratitude but most especially for the opportunity to teach. I really feel for their loss, as well as that of her family and her many friends.

Last week, while shoveling, it should surprise no one, that when Buffy walked by, she picked up another shovel and didn't quit until the walk was cleared. She usually ended conversations with "Lots of love.' But my last memory, was her laughter.

Buffy, I cannot believe you are gone. I am devastated! We have been such good friends since our days at Worc. East and it continued all the way thru college and many years later...
