Sandra Elizabeth (Smith) Hodgdon

Gorham - Sandra Elizabeth (Smith) Hodgdon of Gorham, passed quietly at Maine Medical Center on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with her husband by her side. She was born August 28, 1946 in Portland Maine, the daughter of the late Ernest, and Margaret Smith. She was a graduate of South Portland High School, class of 1964. After graduation she worked at Arlans, Hannaford's, and the Cumberland County Civic Center. She later worked in banking at several institutions until she retired. She married Jonathan Hodgdon on 28 November, 1987.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jonathan Hodgdon, of Gorham, Her sister Karen Krenke, and her husband David, of Allentown, PA., sister Roberta Hutchins, and her husband Mark, of Scarborough, son Thomas Horton, and his wife Donna, of Lake Worth, Fl., daughter Terri and her husband Ken of Standish Maine, Melanie Rocker, and her husband Clay, of Biddeford, daughter Jennifer Royal, her husband Rodney, of Port Lucie, Fl., daughter Christina, of Saco, 12 grand children, and 15 great grand children.

Sandra was an active member of a sewing group called Cricket Comforts, who design and sew pillow cases for the Barbara Bush wing, Maine Medical Center in Portland.
