Dear Al,
I left Prince George awhile ago but always carried a sense of lost to have lost contact with Sandra and the chance to meet you all in you journey as a beautiful family. I am today at the BCTF 100th AGA and learned that my dear Sandra passed away. I feel you lost and I promise to carry dearest memory of her passage in my life. Great courage to you and your two beautiful daughters.

Sandra was my son's (Bryden) Kindergarten teacher. We held him back one year because he wasn't ready as a young 5 year old. When he started Kindergarten and was placed in Sandra's class, we knew he was blessed to be in the loving hands of Sandra Huggett. Her soft voice, her smile, her love for children and her gentle heart will always be remembered. She was influential to many lives who continue to live out all she taught with her beautiful heart. Sandra will forever be a special person to us! May Lia, Kimmy, Alan, and the family be filled with peace, love, and comfort during this time of grief. With much love, the Friberg Family.

Sandra was one of the first teachers to open me with welcome arms when I moved to PG and began teaching. We built a friendship and she always had a smile on her face as she talked about her life with. Later I was fortunate enough to be given the privilege of caring for Lia in my daycare. Sandra was an inspiration to so many and loved her family. She would often be out at Otway skiing with the girls and just enjoying life. My boys still remember the luge that was built in the backyard at winter. So much fun and laughter was felt by all those that knew her. She will be missed and remembered always.

We were so saddened to learn of Sandra's passing. Sandra was my daughters K/1 teacher and she inspired her love of learning...I can still hear her little voice saying..."Mom, Miss Gardner says..." As a teenager Dellanie had the privilege of providing childcare for Sandra, a time she will always treasure. Our hearts go out to the family of this amazing lady. We will miss you Sandra...you reached for our hands but you touched our hearts...

I first met Sandra when she was a little girl, running around in her mother's kitchen in Coquitlam. Many years later, I had the great pleasure of working with her as a colleague. Both as a child, and later as a teacher, mom, and friend, Sandra's kindness, sweetness and enthusiasm shone from her like sunshine. Thank you, Dear Sandra, for your wonderful example of caring for students and their learning...for your conscientious work ethic...and your encouraging optimism. Your light will continue to shine, as your loving legacy continues in the many who you have touched and positively impacted. We are all blessed to have known you. Much love to you and your family!!
