Mrs. Sandra Dee Trexler Jolley, 59, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born July 12, 1963 in Surry County to the late Otis Gordon Trexler and Vallie Mae Cook Trexler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Holland Jolley Jr.; her K9 companions, Sugar Bear, Noah, Bowzer, and Sasha; sisters, Patricia (Gorrell “Fuzzy”) Myers, Barbara Shaw, Debbie Baggett; brother, Allen (Vonda) Trexler; sisters-in-law, Anita (Fred) Mastin, Brona (Jeffrey) Wood, Treva (Robbie) Nash and several nieces and nephews. She worked at Chatham Manufacturing for over three decades. Sandra loved all kinds of animals, she was a great cook, and she enjoyed crocheting, and cross stitching. She and Holland read and studied the Bible every morning. The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Willie Pardue and Rev. Dwayne Lankford officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice and Pruitt Health in Elkin for the loving care shown to Sandra and her family. And a very special thank you to Kathy Baisley for everything she has done for Sandra and Holland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society, 208 S. Bridge St., Wilkesboro, NC 28697. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville is serving the Jolley family.
