Best role model and woman I´ve never known. You are and will always be my Grammy. You were always there for me and still are. Words cannot describe how much I am missing you. All of our talks, very expensive shopping trips in Naples, yelling to Jackson Brown, having spoonfuls of mayo, watching fireworks and always hearing your bracelets jingle when driving your car. This is hardly any memories shared but some of my favorites. I love you so much Grammy.

Dear John,
This is over a year late. I just came across this news about Sandy. Randy and I were your neighbors on Floyd many years ago when we were all very young! I´m so sorry for your loss. Ran passed away too. May God continue to guide you and support you every day. Peggy Jansma

Dec4, I took some time to thank you Lord for my childhood friend. Then I asked for you to walk with Sandy´s beautiful family and the many people she served. So many memories of growing up with Sandy and her beautiful red hair! Always fun and energetic! Sandy, Maureen and Judy forever

I lived across the street from Sandy when growing up, I remember her king red ponytail! We enjoyed playing together, sleep overs, the "rafters" camp in the garage, riding bikes, skating, picnics at Mulick, sledding, the cottage oh so many memories. I always send a birthday message to her, loved watching her beautiful family grow. She will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to John and family and to the many people who shared living her. My love and prayers.

Dear John and family,
Sandy was such a joy to be with, always lifted me up and helped me see the good. When my daughter had knee surgery, she right away offered her ice sleeve. She was a generous hostess for our Help planning meetings. I miss her already. In addition to her lovely family, and so many friends, there are many babies with families who are grateful for her tireless work at Help, and will be there in Heaven someday to say "thank you for giving to the Lord, as I am a life that was saved."

There are no words to describe the hole Sandy leaves behind. We were so blessed to have her as our aunt & but "aunt" doesn´t even describe who she was to us. We miss and love you, Sandy.

I've known Sandy as long as I've known her brother. (50 years) She always showed up if anyone was in the hospital and knew how to talk to staff. When you got home, she always showed up with food. She knew everyone. These past couple months we found out just how many lives she had touched. The Rosary at IHM was phenomenal. Friends and family praying for her and encouraging her, helped all of us immensely. She was strong in her faith and is waiting on all of us now to come home. I just want to thank everyone on behalf of the family.
Thank-you,
Beri and John Bek

My sincere condolences to the Lowery family for the loss of your amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and more. I was blessed to meet Sandy through our connection to HELP and serve with her on the cabinet for the Capital Campaign. Sandy had a way of connecting with everyone and making sure all contributions to discussion were heard. What I most admire about Sandy is that she knew she was God´s daughter and she lived for Christ. Her focus was keen and she modeled with humble energy how to keep our eyes on what was most important in the prolife movement. To say that she will be missed is a colossal understatement. May the angels sing her in and comfort all who loved her. Dear Sandy: pray for us!
With sympathy and prayer,
Mary Jo Thayer
