Mama Miele...You will be forever loved and missed. You touched so many lives and made those people better people. Anyone who knew you was very lucky. You were our angel here on earth and now you are watching over us from above. I'm glad I met you so many years ago. I'll never forget the last time I saw you...you came by my house. I will never forget that. You told me you would be back to see it when it was finished. I know you wont be there physically but I know you will be seeing my house from above. I will always love you, Mama Miele!! RIP Dont worry about Tammy...I'm keeping her in check. Much love!!

Mrs.Miele was an amazing person, i've known her since i was very young and once i reconnected with her in 6th grade i knew i could always come back to her for all my problems and tell her all my thoughts and she always knew the right thing to say no matter what it was. when i heard she only had 7 months once she first was diagnosed i was very sad but i knew she was a fighter so i knew she would get through it. Mrs.Miele was like a second mom to me; school mom other wise and now that she's gone in person i know she's always there in spirit and she's watching over us. R.I.P Mrs. Miele <3

I remember when I first came to Broadway Middle School. I was so scared and was hearing things I've never heard from kids my age before. Then I met Mrs. Miele, and she taught me to not let anyone intimidate me. When I moved on to high school, I lost contact with her until I was reintroduced to my sister and was then reconnected with Mrs. Miele who I began to call Mama Miele. I feel so lucky to have known such a beautiful and amazing woman. She will forever be in my heart.

God has special people on earth called Angels to help him with his tasks on earth and Sandie Miele was one of those Angles, now she will be a Guardian Angel to all the people that meant so much to her. I admired so much about her, The love and devotion to her husband, wonderful mother she was to her sons, and the very special mother she was to her daughter-in-law Tammy. She treated Tammy as though she were her very own daughter and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Sandie was a very special, courageous, loving, and very spunky woman. She touched many lives and will never be forgotten. Thoughts and Prayers for the entire Miele Family.

I had the privilege of seeing Mrs. Miele in mid-June when she stopped in at the office at BMS. It was then that I knew that this would be the last time that I saw her. I am so glad that I was able to hug her. She gave so much wisdom, knowledge, and humor to our students and staff. Her laughter and her wit were infectious. Knowing her was a true blessing. I send my love and sympathy to the family.

Mrs. Miele was are favorite teacher and always will be not only that but she was verry close to our hearts and once again will always be. we love with all our hearts and we will cry about it every single day. She will be missed by us. Once again cancer has struck again to someone verry close to us and the sad part is this time cancer was victorious and had a victory win. She was tough and tried to fight with the help of doctors and medicine but cancer was to strong for her she will be missed once again from us.

My condolences to the entire Miele Family. What a courageous battle she fought and what an amazing woman she was! I have many fond memories of Mrs. Miele, which began around 1986 at Broadway Elementary. She was the aide in my 5th grade classroom and it is truly my most memorable year in Elementary School. She brought so much fun and love to our classroom. She gave endless hugs and was always smiling. As the years passed by, I remember Mr. and Mrs. Miele participating in the Dixie Car Club along with my father. And more recently I have many fond memories of her and the Miele family, as I married one of Mark's best friends, Andy. You could always feel her genuine warmth and comfort when you were in her presence. I am saddened by her loss but comforted that she is now at peace and she is surely watching over her family and close friends whom she loved so much.
In Deepest Sympathy,

Lee Oslager

What can I say about Mrs. Miele. I am very glad I had the chance to know her. She was a fantastic person. Mrs. Miele was my teacher's aid in elementary school, and when I moved to the middle school she came along and became the Library Aid. She was also my neighbor for most of my life. But most importantly, Mrs. Miele was my friend. She was a friend to every student that walked through those halls. Mrs. Miele will be missed, but never forgotten.

July 22, 2011

Mrs. Miele was an aide when I was at broadway 25 yes ago, we all used to call her mom because that's who she was to all of us, another mother she was there for us anytime we needed her. I also had children that went thier and she was always happy to see her former students and she never forgot any of us and that felt great. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten, she was a very loving and beautiful woman. My prayers go out to her family and just remember how many lives she had touched.

Mrs. Miele was my favorite aide at Broadway Elementary when I was growing up. I just loved her. I didn't know Matt was her nephew. He was 2 years behind me in highschool. It makes sense as Matt was nice to everyone and so was Mrs. Miele. I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I hope you all have many happy memories to help ease your sadness and pain during this time. Hold those memories close to your heart.
