Duane! Our condolences to you,the boys and Sandy's sister. Sandy would always call me whenever a classmate had a serious illness or had recently passed to make certain that I knew and would pass along the message to the rest of our classmates. She had many friends and cared about them all. I enjoyed our talks.Getting the message that Sandy had passed really hit me hard. She didn't let many people know about her illness.I know that she will organize all the Teddies in heaven and I will try to carry on the great work that she did organizing them for so many of our reunions.I will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now Duane.

Duane, Steven and David,
Sharon Ring, a mutual friend of Sandy's and mine, just told me about Sandy. I am so sorry to hear that you lost your dear wife and mother. Sandy and I both worked at Eitel Hospital. She was such a wonderful friend and great support as we earned our nursing degrees at Metro State together. We didn't keep up because of busy lives but we had a wonderful conversation a few years ago when she told me about her wonderful sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. She was so proud of you and loved you very much! Duane, she was so proud of you and the great dad and teacher that you are. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Sandy in the 7th grade and we became inseparable all during junior and senior high school. There was not a more generous or compassionate person. May our wonderful memories of her console our grief. She's gone but she left her footprint forever on my heart.

Duane, Steve and Dave, I knew Sandy, as the school nurse, before I knew you guys. I will always remember coming over to the house when Steve was not home and Sandy would invite me in anyway to sit at the table and chat... (and of course eat some of whatever was cooking). I'm so sorry for you loss, 70 is to young and she will be missed.
