So very very sorry to learn of Sandra's passing. I met her at Girls High School and we became friends. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding a cpl years after graduation. After moving from Brooklyn, I lost contact with her but saw her on a cpl TV shows. I am just now seeing that she has passed away. Prayers to her family. I remember her son & her little sister.

My friend, we went to AL Fanns theatrical ensemble together. We ecame close friends from then on. Ms Thomas was what she called me affectionately. I will miss her enmesely.. shared love,

I came to the house to work with Marishka. Mom (my name for her) was so sweet and kind. She gave me her blessings on my new apartment in Harlem. Bright me to tears. She always told me how beautiful I was! Sleep well Mom! You are missed!

A powerful voice, an incredibly talented actress on stage, tv and in movies. She has played such varied roles but was always great. Her role in "Lean On Me" was a favorite of mine. Sincere condolences to the Reaves, Phillips families. May God be with you.
