Sandra Elaine Sandfer (Whittemore), 83, born on September 22nd, 1940 in Boston, MA previously of Bee Spring, KY, passed peacefully after a long fight with illness April 5, 2024 in New Albany, IN. Sandra was born

Proceeded in death by her parents Ralph and Evelyn Whittemore, her husband William Harold Sandfer, her ex-husband Thomas Ducey, Daughters Linda Rothwell and Nancy Manookian, son Gregory Ducey, Brothers Barry Whittemore and Bruce Whittemore, and grandchildren Samantha Rothwell and Shaun Manookian.

Survived by her brothers Warner and Ralph Whittemore, children Cheryl Ducey (Chet), Tom Ducey (Tracey), and Kenny Ducey (Dena), grandsons, Scott Rothwell (Lisa), Patrick Ducey, Vernon Olson, Christopher Zirkelback (Emily), Tommy Ducey Jr. (Amanda), Christopher Ducey (Latasha), and Gregory Ducey Jr. (Riley), grandaughters Evelyn Rothwell (Brian), Kelli Embry (Elton), Jessica Ducey, Nicole Potter (Gary), Kristin Ducey, Alex Ducey, and Breana Ducey (Sarah). Many step-grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.
