Sandra Annette Schnell passed away suddenly on Monday, May 11, 2015. Sandra is survived by her loving husband David; father Michael Bilo; sister Laurel Garvin (Gerald); as well as her first husband Dale Schnell. She was predeceased by her mother. Sandra will be forever missed by her many dear friends. Her passion was in international aid, working for many decades with various groups in Thailand, Central Africa and Uganda. Sandra's humanitarian work over the last two decades was truly dear to her heart. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Rotary International to assist in their overseas humanitarian work, c/o 911600 – PO Box 4090 STN A Toronto, ON M5W 0E9. In living memory of Sandra Schnell, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

So very sorry to hear of Sandra's passing.
My heart goes out to you Laurel and families in your loss.
So many memories of time spent with Sandra when we were kids - summer vacation visits, walks and talks.
In the last few years reconnecting over lunch and too few telephone chats, but I am so grateful we had them.
Rest in peace, my dear cousin. I will miss you always.

We have many good memories of you David with Sandra at our house and going out for dinners and you guys were always so supportive of all we did. You are in our prayers! I'm so very saddened to hear of Sandra's sudden passing. She was a very talented woman, who will be missed.
Take comfort in knowing she is at peace now, watching over her loved ones, son Adam, beloved grandchildren and sister Laurel, and is reunited with her dear mother with whom she shared many creative talents.

My memories of Sandra will always be of someone who's heart was bigger than life! Her amazing work with and generosity to those less fortunate overseas left us all in awe. She loved helping the vulnerable and always looked forward to doing more. When it came to the humanitarian aid missions, Sandra was relentless with her time, fundraising and energy.
When it came to style, Sandra had it! Her eye for decorating and fashion was second to none. Stylish she was!
Together with the "other girls" I will forever hold fond memories of our times together in Calgary and Vancouver.
My heart, thoughts and prayers are with David, her family & friends and all those who loved her. May you find comfort surrounded by loved ones.
