Mrs. Terry and Ron, I am so sorry for your great loss. I knew Sandra best as Director General of the Children of the Confederacy. I am sure she grew lovelier with each passing day of her all too short life. My thoughts and prayers, and those of my daughter, DeVeaux Boineau Palmer, are with you all. Sandi always had a smile on her face and the greatest postive attitude of anyone I have ever been around. Nothing seemed to faze her. She accepted ever task cheerfully and finished what she started in a highly professinal way. I'll never forget our trip to the Pentagon when COL K. was to brief the ORD. She was making all his last minute changes and never got flustered. In fact she could have probably given a better briefing. My heart goes out to you and your family. She will be greatly missed by me and everyone. You will remain in our prayers.

Ron,

I only knew Sandra, personnally, for a brief period. She sat behind me in class a couple of months ago. In that week it seems like I've known her as a friend for a life time. She was so happy and full of life. My wife and I even went to visit her on Sunday at the hospital to only find she wasn't there. Its like the day when Mary went to the tomb of Jesus and he had arisen. Take comfort in knowing that she has risen to a better place; no more worrying, no more pain. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time. We grieve with you.

I am very sad today. Sandi and I lost touch over the years, as most people seem to do after high school/college years...but the memories that came flooding back this morning when I read she'd died are many. She got her driver's license one day, and drove me to get mine the next! She was the first person I saw when my father and I stood at the door to the sanctuary when I got married. There are so many more. I have thought of her numerous times, and wondered where she was. Now I learn that she was not very far away. My sympathy to you all, husband, Mrs. Terry and her brothers.

On the morning of 15 March I called out Sandi’s name at our 530 am church intercessory prayer at the alter. Later that afternoon, the spirit of God kept saying, “There’s a celebration going on in the spirit”. I rejoiced and praised God and I was overwhelmed with joy. I didn’t know why but the joy was so strong. When I returned to work on Monday one of my co-workers had given me the news. There was a peace in my sprit and I said she made it in to heaven and now I know why there was a celebration going on!! To God be the glory and may God's presence rest upon her family mightily, and keep them in perfect peace.
