Sandy Blankenship Obituary
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Stephen H. Blankenship of the residence; two sisters, Tina Shelton of Bassett and Jennifer Cheshire of Salisbury, NC.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Latter Day Saints c/o of Gordon Hodnett, 442 Susan drive, Collinsville VA 24078.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I work in one of the CB&T branches and Sandy was always very nice and helpful to me. She will be missed greatly. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers....

We are saddened at Sandy's sudden passing. The Blankenship home was one of our favorite places to visit during our mission time in Martinsville. I know from experience that losing a spouse is one of life's greatest challenges. Steve, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
