Sanjay Jhawar

I have only today seen this and am very sad to hear of Sanjay's passing. Having originally known each other as infants, living in flats one above the other in Norton, we met again at Yarm School, becoming best friends for many years. We lost touch after Sanjay and Madeline married and lived in the US. I still have many happy memories of school days and of visiting Sanjay´s mum, dad and sister.

A proud and caring father, a loving and compassionate husband, an amazing son and brother and a great colleague, entrepreneur who had great vision towards anything he put his mind into. Sanjay Bhaiyya you are dearly missed and words cannot describe the amazing human being you were. I´m so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend some lovely time with you in New Zealand. May your souls rest in peace.

I knew Sanjay when we were at Yarm School together - so happy to hear about the full life he has lived, sad to hear of his passing.

Our sincere condolences to the Jhawar family. We know that Sanjay was loved and will be missed by many.

Beautiful obit, Nisha. As noted, Sanjay's diagnosis was completely unexpected. We thought we would have many more years. Life is so precious....
