Sara Ann Brewer

Sara Ann Brewer, 25, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at her home. She was born April 27, 1988 in Granite City, a daughter of David Lee and Jo Ann (Stout) Brewer. She was a 2006 graduate of Granite City High School. She had a special love of music and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her loving and caring personality. She was loved by all and everyone will cherish the love and special times shared with her. In addition to her beloved parents, she is survived by one sister, Chellie and husband, Brent Dippel of Granite City; three brothers, Christian David and wife, Kaylene Brewer of Seattle, Washington, Joseph John Brewer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Eric David Brewer and fiancé, Katie Wilhelm of St. Louis; grandparents, Robert and Renee Brewer of Troy, Illinois and Raymond Syniski of Staunton; nieces and nephews, Reagan Clemons, Reanna Farley, Skylar Dippel, Braden Dippel and Avery Mackenzie Brewer-Lovett; special friend, Justin Kuenkler of Granite City; many aunts; uncles; cousins and other extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janet Brewer, Iva Mae Syniski, Bobby Joe Stout and Ira Dean Harrell. In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Manuel Cuizon as celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville.
