Sara Jane Murawski, 24, of 772 Enterprise Road, Grove City, Pine Township, died the morning of Sunday, July 13, 2008, in her home following an extended illness.She was born Feb. 13, 1984, in Fairview Park, Ohio. Her parents are Joe and Deb Murawski.Sara was a 2002 graduate of Grove City High School.She had a love for the arts. Her artistic abilities included writing poetry, drawing, painting, and playing the flute and piano.Recently, Sara had been taking a course of study in holistic medicine. Her wishes were to establish a fund to assist individuals and families who have been diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma.Survivors include her parents, Joe and Deb Murawski; a brother, Jay Murawski and his wife, Jen; nephew and niece, Nicholas and Natalie Murawski; and grandfather, James R. Cox, all of Grove City; and loved friend Jason Kostelansky, and birth parents and a half brother, Christopher, all of Cleveland. Also, several aunts, uncles and cousins survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley Cox, and Jean and Adam Murawski.Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, and 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service Thursday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road. The Rev. Frederick Gilbert, pastor of Independent Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.The Sara J. Murawski Fund has been established in Sara’s memory to benefit research, children and families who have been affected with Ewings sarcoma. Donations should be made payable to the Sara J.
