From our teenage years to now, Sara continued to be one of the most unique, intelligent, funny and beautiful people I have ever and will ever meet. I learned of her passing tonight and I am heartbroken. I feel the incredible loss for her family, friends and the world. Hearing Santeria will always make me think of my beautiful friend Sara and I will look forward to hearing that song forever . I love you my friend.

Sara I will always cherish the memories of playing softball and field hockey with you. We were so lucky to be able to enjoy many good times and grow up with a great bunch of girls! I'll always remember helping you dye your hair and it turning out smokin white! You had a beautiful smile and presence and you will be missed. We hadn't spoken since we suffered the loss of another dear friend ... give Katie a hug for me. Love you

Never met Sara but I know her parents & for most of my life her mom has been a friend of mine all through school. Hoping the beautiful memories they have of her will help them get through this terrible time. RIP Sara.

My first memory of Sara was at MTD. She was so kind and so very helpful. She was a lunch buddy. I will really miss her.
