Dear Eric and Erica, please accept my sincere condolences. I cannot attend Sarah's service but will be praying for you all that day. I remember you all fondly from choir days in Westwood and am forever indebted to Susan for her recommendation that my mom check out Ocean Park. Our OP summer vacation weeks started in 1980, and we look forward to it every summer. God bless you all, Linda Very Bardwell

I´m sorry to hear that Sarah walked on. Sarah and I were classmates at Dana. I remember Sarah´s courage and admired it. I hope time will bring your family healing and peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Sarah´s at Dana. Sarah was a shining light, she had an infectious smile and was always ready to laugh. Freshman year she sang the theme song to Cheers - her voice was so powerful, filled with emotion and warmth. That performance, which I think was just in the commons, not a formal event, has stayed with me for all these years. So glad I had the opportunity to know her.

I was a class ahead of Sarah at Dana Hall. I remember that she loved to sing and I accompanied her on the piano at many occasions while at Dana. She was always smiling and laughing. Having had just moved from Japan, I was extremely shy back then, but she made me feel "comfortable". I can't believe that she has left us, but a little comforted by the thought that the tree my sister and I planted in her honor will bring a new life to this world.

I remember Sarah in Ocean Park since she was a young child. I had her in Sunday School classes in Ocean Park. She used to help her mom and Dad out when they were maintenance workers at The Temple in Ocean Park. I also babysat for her once or twice and her next door neighbor in O.P., Jonathen Gwalthney. Rest in peace Sarah. My condolences to her husband, her father, Eric and her sister, Erica. God bless.

I am flabbergasted to see this news. Sarah was incredibly special to me as one of my first advisees at Dana Hall. She started her time there mourning the loss of her mother and showed incredible strength at that time. I´m so sorry that you all have lost such a special woman.
