I'll think of Ann every year at Mardi Gras, among many other times. For so many years, hers (along with Gay Batson's, Terry Gerstner's and others) was the voice of Carnival's closing moments. She, like the Meeting of the Courts broadcast, became a local legend. In addition to being a talented announcer and actress, she was also a gracious and giving person. My colleagues in the Press Club of New Orleans send condolences as well.
