Sarah Elisabeth O'Donnell (Jones), born on February 20, 1935, in Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 89 in Milton, Wisconsin. Sarah worked in the service of others, notably as a head nurse working with severely depressed individuals at Harding Hospital in Worthington.

Sarah was a graduate of Steubenville High School and furthered her education in Nursing, which paved the way for her lifelong career in nursing. Her dedication to her profession was paralleled by her devotion to her personal life, she was a member of the Westerville Methodist Church.

A passionate gardener like her mother, Sarah found solace and joy in tending to flowers, engaging with fellow flower club members, and forming lasting bonds with her neighbors. She was also an avid dog walker, a pastime through which she enjoyed numerous interactions within her community.

Sarah leaves behind a loving family, survived by her children, David and Ruth, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Sister Elisabeth, parents, David Jones and Tryphena (Griffith), children, Keith and Glen, as well as many cherished relatives and lifelong friends.

A private service for her surviving children will be held in Steubenville, Ohio, honoring her life and legacy. Sarah will be remembered for her nurturing nature, both in her professional field and in the beautiful gardens she cultivated.
