Sarah Warren Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Dec. 26, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023.
Sarah Warren, age 23, of Cave Creek, Arizona passed away on December 11th, 2022, in an automobile accident.

She was born on August 16th, 1999, in Scottsdale. She grew up in Cave Creek with her two older siblings where she attended Cactus Shadows High School. Later, she worked at The Creek Patio Grill.

Sarah was a spunky, free spirited, beautiful young woman who was taken from this earth way too early. She had an uncanny way to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was always the first to jump into action for anyone who needed her. She always saw the best in others and kept her heart open for anyone who needed her warm love - and boy did she love hard. Anyone that knew Sarah knew she had a unique and bright soul.

Sarah found her peace fishing at the lake. She loved country music, riding motorcycles, going to the shooting range, snuggling her dogs, and watching Christmas movies. She loved all things fashion and makeup, and she seemed to change her hair color with the seasons.

Sarah spent the majority of her time helping others around her. For many years, she was an active member of St. Gabriel the Arch Angel Catholic Church and dedicated countless hours to various projects and events.

Sarah is survived by her parents, Mark and Susan (Hamm) Warren; sister, Kea; brother, Scott; brother-in-law, Dustin; dogs, Taz and Joanie; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many dear friends, most of whom she affectionately called "Mama" or "Papa". She is preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Arthur (DA) and Joyce Warren, James and Joanie Hamm; her beloved dogs TJ and Finn; and many friends whom she always held close to her heart.

There will be a wake on Friday, January 6th, 2023, at 7:00PM at St Gabriel the Arch Angel Catholic Church Parish Hall. All are invited to come share their favorite memories of Sarah. Wear your favorite flannel.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at 1:00PM, also at St Gabriel the Arch Angel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation to The Fetch Foundation www.thefetchfoundation.com or Trevor Project www.thetrevorproject.org

My heart is broken for you and all those who loved Sarah. I had never had the privilege of meeting her but know she must have been magical by reading about her and knowing some of her precious family. She resides with the Angels now and with her Lord and Savior. She will always hold a most precious place in your hearts and memories.

There are no words to convey how heartbroken our family is for all of you. I remember Sarah coming to my classroom for story time, climbing on my lap and snuggling in (before she was even in school.) Wonderful memories of Scott, Kea, Sarah, and the two of you, both in and outside of the classroom. "As a new star lights the night sky, know that it will shine forever". May you find comfort, strength, and peace in cherished memories, and in prayer.
Our hearts and prayers are with you all.

I worked as a paraprofessional at CSHS and met Sarah in a freshman World History class. One day I asked the teacher if I could mention that a student with extreme difficulties had been injured severely and would they like to make a card I could make sure she would receive. Sarah was to first to respond and made a lovely, glittery card with thoughts of love and hope for recovery. The student was thrilled, and I knew I had found a young, loving, compassionate person whose heart was filled with decency and grace. May she rest in peace, she's an angel now as she was then.

I knew Sarah briefly. She came with a friend to my daughters birthday party, where she gifted them a huge pool unicorn to ride at the pool party. Every child at the party was drawn to her and she jumped in the pool playing with the 20-30 kids. Her death really had me upset for the past few weeks despite seeing her less than 3x she just had that kind of spirit about her. My heart aches for her family and friends may god comfort you all durning this time.

Sarah was always a bright light.. Highlight of my every day was seeing her and her wrapping her arms around me with a "hi Momma". I loved running into Sarah around Cave Creek. Both of us would wrap our arms around each other with a big bear hug and huge smiles on our faces.. I Love you so Much pretty girl..
