Sarah was inspiration to me, especially during her battle with cancer. She was
a joy to work with. I'll never forget her.
May the many memories that family and friends have be a blessing.

Such a bright light in this world. We bonded over what was best for students no matter how difficult or challenging. I sought her counsel and valued her always timely reactions and advice. This is a grievous loss and I send out my deepest condolences to her mother and children and all who loved this very special person.
The world is emptier now. Rest in peace dear colleague.

I remember when Sarah and I met, it was through an RA training breakfast and one of the only tables available was with her. I sat down and met her for the first time when she asked "Did anyone do anything special for the holiday break?". I stayed silent and there wasn't much to say until I remembered that I had done something for the holidays. I said "Oh wait yeah, I did, I went to the Maury show!". Sarah laughed and asked me how that was. From them on, Sarah was always a friendly face to me and would talk to me or invite me over wherever she saw me. She was always supportive of me and me endeavors at Buffalo State but most of all, she made me feel at home whenever we'd speak. I'd volunteer at the Dean's office to show my gratitude because I wasn't sure of how else to express how grateful I was that she took the time to get to know me and support me. She was, and always will be, a gem to me.
