I was gifted Jesus Calling devotional book on Oct.5th, 2016, my birthday. I started reading it , and for 10 years i have rarely missed a day. My relationship with God has increased tremendously learning the word of God, and what he wants from me. I cherish my Jesus Calling!!! I have been sharing Sarah´s daily message first thing every morning to family & friends from either Jesus Calling or Jesus Always.
Sarah is a blessing interpreting scripture in such a beautiful way we can all relate to that has helped and inspired many!

I just learned of Sarah Young's passing too. I read all of the entries and may try some of her other books. I still read "Jesus Calling" and "Jesus Always" daily in the morning. That time spent with Jesus daily is precious, and helps reming me that He is with me as I go through my day. "Jesus Always" is so positive and uplifting, just started that one a few years ago. It takes me back to first grade when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Well done good and faithful servant! See you in the Afterlife, as will your loving family!

I didn't know that Sarah had gone to be with the Lord, Oh, she doesn't need a lamp on a table or the Sunshine peeking in her window. Sarah's book "Jesus Calling" I read and loved it. Now, I'm loving " Jesus Listens" a new and wonderful read, at this time of my life (age 86). It's just what I need now. I gave several books as gifts to special younger one's. We are sharing how timely, for each one daily. The joy of Sarahs writing is like "The Sweet-smell of cinnamon buns just from the oven. I cherish her gift, writing His truth in a personal and loving way. She gives a fresh vision of hope, in times such as these. Surly Sarah will be missed.

* I first read Sarah's book, Jesus calling in 2017. I have every book she wrote after that. But the best one was Jesus Today. I have read it as a daily devotional every year for the past seven years .I'm 92 years old now and each page has the hope and encouragement I need for the day.

I got to know Sarah by reading her book devotionals...I also, read the books préfixes & learn much about her christain growth,& journeys over the years....I felt connected/ close ..because we are one in the family of Father/ God, given to us by his son "Jesus Christ" ...salvation & forgivness of our sins..& eternal life...I heard today about her passing...I grieve

I received the latest Jesus calling magazine on Friday, and learned of Sarah´s passing. Even though I never knew her personally, it still made me really sad. One of my patients gifted me a copy of Jesus Calling (Enjoying peace in His presence) back in 2018. I LOVED it!! I still love it, and reread it every year. I´ve also gifted it to a number of people, It´s such an excellent devotional!!! Her love of Jesus and her amazing devotionals, are sure to bless people for years to come. My deepest condolences to the family. I have no doubt this has been an impactful loss for all of you. I am a stranger to Sarah, but she has enriched & blessed my life through her books.

I just found out about Sarah's passing. I felt a sense of loss as if a friend had died. I discovered Jesus Calling in 2015 when a friend gave the book to me. I ended up buying another one for my niece. I bought four more including Jesus Listens. I take a picture each morning and send it on to several friends who also send it on to their family and friends. She's touched millions of people. My deepest condolences to her family.

I bought this book in 2015 and have read it almost every morning since then. Sarah brought peace to my heart with Jesus´ word through my husband´s illness and surgery in 2016 and through his death in 2023. I continue to include her beautiful messages in my daily devotional time . I am thankful she used her talent to glorify God.

It was very sad to discover that Sarah had passed away when I received my Winter issue of Jesus Calling a couple of days ago. However knowing Sarah is with the Jesus is comforting. We will miss you Sarah, but we will have your inspiring words with which to carry on in our lives! Rest In Peace Dear Sarah!

I first learned about Sarah Young & her book Jesus Calling in 2018. A church friend brought the book to me while I was at the hospital waiting for my husband to pass away. This book has been a constant companion to me ever sense. Starting tomorrow, January 1, 2024 it will be, the seventh time that I have read through Jesus calling. Even today as I read the devotional and thought about Sarah it´s spoke to me.

Sending my love and prayers to the family of Sarah Young at her passing in August..I just found out recently when I checked to see if she put out a new devotional since Jesus Listens..I felt like I knew her from all her devotionals since 2011 when I was gifted Jesus Calling..I am 74 and have struggled with M.S. for 45 yrs so I could relate a lot with her..She will always be my inspiration and I continue to pray for her family as I did her..God be with you ..May Sarah rest in Hus peace and rise in His Glory..Amen..Peggy Keep-Anthony..Lansing,Michigan

Sarah Young´s book "Jesus Calling" gave me the feeling that Jesus was talking to me. I´ve gone through it at least 3 times and it has always been relevant to my life. She gave us a great gift. I feel a void even though I never met her in person.

Sarah was / is an angel interpreting the Bible to inspire and bless us all.
I start every morning reading Jesus Calling & Jesus Always and will continue spreading her writings.
I'm old school and take a picture of one of the two daily messages to email to family and friends and over the years many have asked to include a friend.
Sarah has blessed so many and I'm grateful God gifted us with such an Angel as Sarah!!

Today I read that Sarah has passed away. I touched me deeply in my heart. I am living in Holland and I have her devotionel book: Jesus Calling. It took some time getting used to reading something like Jesus was speaking to me. Sometimes I asked myself was it really Jesus who was speaking to me, or just something a sister in Christ had experienced? This month I participate in Wake Up, an initiative in our church to learn to listen to the voice of God.
Every week we are coming together in small groups of 4 people and share with each other whether we have heard the voice of God in our quiet time.
And now, today, I read the news of Sarah Young. I started searching the internet to find out who she really was. There she was, a child of God, who used the problems with her health, which kept her at home, to spend more and more time with God and listen to His voice. She did not keep the blessing to herself, but shared it richly with everyone, through her books. She did not wrote to become famous, but because she wanted to tell others about Jesus and pass on the things that had helped her in her life with God.
Today she has encouraged me to listen more and more to the voice of God, in all circumstances. She is an example to me.
Dear family, I wish you that God will comfort you with the comfort that only He can give, with the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother.

I am so sorry to see that Sarah has passed. For many years, I am thankful I've read Sarah's "Jesus Calling" and "Jesus Listens"... both providing comfort and wisdom, knowing we are never alone. I´ve been a faithful reader of Sarah´s devotional books since her first, JESUS CALLING. My husband also reads her books and we have been helped tremendously by her! She has been there with us through our lowest to our highest of times. Sweet Sarah lived in the same place that we are. I have gifted her devotionals to many people including our parents, all of whom claim that these enriched their prayer lives and relationship with JESUS.
Well done, Sarah! Rest in Jesus´ arms. We will see you again. With saddened hearts that will miss you!

A dear friend sent me my first Sarah Young devotional in 2013 after my husband died of cancer. Throughout the years since I've purchased several of her books, including the Bible studies.
