Just learned of Scott's passing. He was a great guy. Knew him in his youth and often bumped into him during his career. Blessing to know he had his faith in Jesus Christ and is now with Jesus where we will see him again.

I just heard about Scott's passing and it breaks my heart to have lost yet another co-worker! Scott and I worked together at Consumers Energy on several projects and he was one of the nicest people I've ever met! My prayers and sympathies go to his family, he will be missed; RIP Scott.

My sincerest condolences to you on Scott's passing. While I worked with him intermittently for only a few years, I was always struck by his kindness, positivity, and willingness to help others. I distinctly recall him going out of his way to set up time with me as I entered a new role, so he could offer his advice, suggestions, and to wish me well. He was a dear man, a trusted colleague, and a selfless person who will be missed.

I've known for Scott for 20 years and one thing that always stood out was that he was genuine and cared about those around him. He always made time for me even when he didn't have too. My condolences go out to his family and anyone one that knew him. He was a great man and will be missed.

Scott was the very first person to set up time to talk with me when I started a new job and became his coworker. He wanted to welcome me, to find out where he could help, and we also talked a lot about family. I met Scott as a parts supplier to his companies service business. I quickly learned how kind, professional, empathetic and caring he was. His qualities transcended work. We became quick friends and would help each other out on many common work issues over the years. I respect and admire him tremendously. I am retired but have thought of him often. To the family. This news was shocking and sad. I've known Scott for our entire 30 years together at Consumers Energy. Our conversations always went back to the beginning days as Meter Readers and then transition to Faith and Family. Scott was an very caring man. When I found out I had cancer, he was there to listen, give advice and support me. I will never forget his kindness. He was always giving a smile or a good morning. It was a pleasure to work with him and have him as a friend.

I had the pleasure and privilege to know Scott for the past 15 years. He was truly one of the nicest men I have ever met. You could tell he was genuine from the moment you met him. He went out of his way on numerous occasions to stop by my office to share business management tips and tricks he had seen on YouTube channels. Knowing Scott for a short time seemed like knowing him forever. He had a way of being very open and welcoming that warmed the heart and made it seem as though you had been friends for a long time.
