Scott Berry

It was just a chance meeting that I met Scott some two years ago. For some reason we both hit it off and spent most of the day talking. Although my time with Scott was short, I will always fondly remember him.

Sure was fun knowing you and playing basketball in the LHS gym on Saturdays!

So sorry for your loss. It's been along time since we've hung out together and I really miss Scott and you together forever and ever. Ruth God bless you and your family.

My sympathy to the family. I was in the same graduating class at S.D. Lee High as Scott and was glad to hear about his plans to develop the old school. I remember the kindness he showed my father Henry Brownlee and hope the two of them are talking old times in Heaven.

To Ruth and the rest of the Clan. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Scott. He was a genuine guy. Lord have mercy on his soul. Y'all are in my prayers.

Praying for the family during your time of loss! Henry always thought so fondly of him and his brothers and enjoyed his year of working with them.

We never saw Mr. Scott without a smile and he always knew how to make everyone laugh. He is missed already. We are thinking of your family in this time and praying for you all!

We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Ruth and the entire family. We met Ruth and Scott during an Air Force training program in Columbus and they immediately welcomed us and made us feel like family. Their warmth and generosity touched our hearts. They invited us to their home and made us traditional southern meals, which became some of our fondest memories of our time there. Ruth attended all of the graduation ceremonies and even came to Italy for a wedding. Ruth and Scott embody warmth, kindness, generosity and family, and we are blessed to have met them. Scott will be greatly missed by all of us, and certainly never forgotten. He was a wonderful man who touched so many lives. We are heartbroken to hear of his passing, but know that his lovely spirit lives on in the family he treasured so much. We are thinking of you all during this time, and we send you all of our love.

Haven't seen my old friend in a long, long time. But what times we had growing up! We were always pushing aside imagined boundaries and growing ourselves as we discovered the wider world. Sorry that you're gone, gone too young, I might add. Brings mortality home. Ruth and family, sorry he left us so early.

Sending my condolences to Ruth and the family. While living in California and visiting "The Friendly City" during the Christmas Holiday season every year, I always looked forward to going to Scott & Ruth's Holiday party.
