Scott was a class act! As a Marine brother, I will always remember the tremendous impact he had on the high scool classes we visited to share his WWII perspective. He challenged them in such a positive way, reminding them that their generation was capable of great things. What an encourager! He was able to honestly and powerfully convey to them that "Freedom isn't free." As I do my duty here in Iraq, I give thanks to fine men such as Scott who passed on to my generation of Marines our legacy of valor! Thank You Scott. You are a reminder to me of the Bible verse from Luke 12:48 "Those to whom much is given, much is expected." You gave so much of yourself. "Semper Fi" my friend!
Bev, God bless you and your family. Like Seabiscuit, I know you will pull through this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Scott with us!

I count it a privilege to have been
Scotty's barber for 43 years. He shared stories with me including his experiences of WW2, travel and business. He influenced my life in many ways and I cherish his memory and will miss Beverly's Christmas pickles. Wally
