Scott DeSilva Obituary
He was a graduate of East Providence High School and attended the University of Rhode Island where he played football and was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was a salesman for AlumaTech and an assistant coach for the Bengals M.C.Y.F.L. football team.
He is survived by his son, Isaiah S. Aquisto of the home and his mother Ethel Whiting of Ocala. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Antone of Ft. Lauderdale and J. Dana DeSilva of Providence; two sisters; Renee DeSilva of Upper Marlboro, MD and Michelle Wilson of Providence; his stepmother, Roberta DeSilva of Providence and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Joseph DeSilva in 2003 and his brother, Kurt DeSilva in 1997.
A memorial service will be held December 14, 2005 at 7 P.M. in Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church, Providence with Rev. Oliver Bala, Pastor R. Wayne Faria officiating. Service under the direction of Purcell Funeral Home, 114 West Noble Ave., Bushnell, FL (352) 793-4531.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family especially Ethyl. Scott was a big part of my life and helped me in many ways that I will forever be grateful for. I will remember him always and I am here for you Ethyl...you were a big part of my life too and I'll always love you. Scott was a wonderful guy and I believe he did alot of good things to help alot of people in this world and that means alot. May God help to ease the pain you are feeling and know he is with Jesus right now.
