Dear Mary Lou,
I'm so shocked to hear of Scotts passing ,he was so special. Even as a kid he seemed to have a very old soul. There was a peace about him, a self assurance that kids just never seem to have. I wonder if he ever knew how much I admired him. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was a senior at Mt. Lebanon HS and wound up in a woodshop class instead of an art class due to too many kids signing up for art. I was scared of most of the tools, and to top it off, there were a couple of creepy senior boys in there. I met Scott in this class; he was in 10th grade. He was my protector - he made sure I didn't kill myself with the power tools and kept the creepy boys away. We were great friends for that semester... then I graduated, but I will never forget him.
