Scott Hamilton Obituary
Mr. Hamilton was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Spruce Pine Baptist Church. He was a 1989 graduate of Russellville High School and a 1995 graduate of Auburn University.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Spruce Pine Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Officiating will be Jim Poss. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Visitation was Sunday at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russell--ville.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hamilton, Phil Campbell, Ala.; son, Jacob Hamilton, Phil Campbell, Ala.; daughter, Kayla Hamilton, Phil Campbell, Ala.; parents, Donald and Peggy Hamilton, Russellville, Ala.; sister, Ladonna Hamilton, Montgomery, Ala.; grandmother, Beulah Greenhill, Russellville, Ala.; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Miles Hamilton, Bernice Jones and Odell Greenhill.
Pinkard Funeral Home, of Russellville, is directing.

Scott was an all around great guy and cousin. He was a strong man and great father. His family was very proud of him for all he did and accomplished. He was very giving, smart, and driven. He always had a smile on his face when I saw him and he could always make you laugh. I have many fond memories of him since we were children. He always ate all the cucumbers. I don't know why I thought of that... but every time I eat cucumbers I'll think of him. He was loved by so many. This is such a heartbreaking tragedy to our family. He will be so greatly missed. Rest in Peace cousin. May all your dreams come true in the afterlife. I Love You.
