We are totally heart broken, we just learned this week and will stop by to your house Gigi (as we call her). He was indeed a wonderful person and we had opportunity to meet with and his family many times and we know them personally. Sorry for your loss Giji and we pray to Him to be with you all. Talk to you soon.

Dear Scott,
The memories we had when both of our families were getting together at the beach or during holidays will never be forgettable. Your big heart and your kindness is what made you a very valuable friend and you don’t meet good people like you every day. You are and will always be missed.

Dear Scott, we will be setting our seder table during Passover with a place setting for you, my friend. I wish we had had a chance to share our holidays together... Hannah has been remembering you with fondness as she recalls your conversations about autism with her. I hope her insights into autism helped you understand it a little better. Thank you for being such a mensch - and may G-d bless your family with every truly good thing. Shalom... (but not goodbye because I never say goodbye to my friends)

Just like the Glow of light that sends warmth to the heart, the warmth of your soul was felt by all who met you (even if briefly). Condolences to the Family. Scott spoke very dearly about his family. Prayers & Thoughts!

Scott and I started out on the wrong foot on a message board, but then met in person and became good friends. Fellow Carolinians always become friends eventually. I only knew Scott for a very short time, but he and I became good friend who shared a lot of the same interests. I live in SC and he lived in NC so we only met in person a few times but we shared our sports interest in phone converstations. Scott will be missed, and I wish the best to his family and friends.

Scott I will miss you dearly. You were always a great friend and fellow Yankee fan. I will always remember how you took great joy in stumping me with obscure Yankee trivia from the 1960's, the period you and I cherished from our childhoods in Jersey. Your greatest memory of UNC was always the visit by Steinbrenner and his Yankees to Boshamer when you were in college. Rest in Peace my friend. My sincere sympathy to all of Scott's family and friends. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Today in my heart there is no joy
All my thoughts are sad and somber
because the Yankees message board
lost one of its Bronx Bomber
He will hang with Babe and Lou now
Gets to mingle with the Boss
But on this Yankees message board
We have suffered one great loss
He has gone to Yankee Heaven
Up to the eternal slumber
When he was born they named him Scott
But to us he was just "Numbers"
Rip my dear friend.

I met Scott on facebook. We had many Mutual friends, as both, being great ~ Yankee fans. Such a kind & caring person. Who loved his family so much. The nicest person. Last year we had a tragedy in our family. He was very kind, seeing how we were doing. It's something I will never forget. I know his Yankee friends will always adore him ~ As will my family. Much love to your family from ours....Kara Rose & Family XO
