1950 - 2023/In Loving Memory
Taylorsville, UT-Scott Leonard Healy, Sr. was born in Price, Utah on December 1, 1950 to Homer Herbert Healy and Lenna Oliver Healy. He grew up in Helper, Utah and graduated from Carbon High School in 1969. He served in the US Army from 1969-1972. He married Vicki Lynne Eschler on October 26, 1973. He graduated from Utah Technical College in 1979 and worked for Evans and Sutherland in Salt Lake City, Utah for 24 years. He served as a Cub Scout committee chairman in the Southridge Ward in Taylorsville, Utah. Scott and Vicki moved to Taylorsville in 1974 and have lived there since then.
Scott has made many good friends and wonderful neighbors over the years. He is survived by his wife Vicki; daughter, Melissa (Mandy McAllister) Cook; sons: Lenny (Jessica) Healy, Brian (Becky) Healy, and Maxwell (Heather) Healy; five grandchildren; and one brother, John Healy of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Archie Hamilton; and sister, Carolyn Dayes.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah. 84010. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If you can beg, borrow or steal (don't steal) a motorcycle, join us for the motorcade from the mortuary to the cemetery.
